It's been a whirlwind of a week with the launch of my book Holistic Website Planning on Amazon this week. I don't mind saying it's been a great success too, with the book becoming a number 1 best seller in categories of Web Development, Web Marketing, Business & Management Technology and Website Design. It also reached number 2 in the computing category. That placed the book above some of my favourite books like This is Marketing by Seth Godin, Building a Story Brand by Donald Miller and The Lean Startup by Eric Ries.

I mean, wow! 🤯

But what is the book all about? Well I wanted to write about what I feel is important to build a successful website. In some ways, this had the potential to better prepare potential clients who approached us at A Digital, the digital agency I founded. But I also see many websites that could be so much better and short change the businesses that are using them!

Digital is absolutely essential to get right and of course companies are all at various different states of adoption. I've seen the benefits using digital technology well can bring - both to individuals and organisations, and I want more people to experience them in a way that makes life better. Freeing up time, making things easier, quicker and more efficient. Enabling us to spend our time on more valuable activities that give us purpose and the satisfaction of a 'system' that, well, just works.
